One of the effective steps to protect the population and creating jobs in the bordering areas, is to stablish bordering terminals (bordering trade).Given that a significant level of bordering people's needs is through cross-border transactions, sustaining security in the border areas helps to strengthen the livelihoods of frontiers and development of the regions. The question is: "What are the factors affecting the security of Mehran border terminal and which factor is of the utmost importance?" The main hypothesis is that; "The political factor has had an impact on the security of the city of Mehran border terminal and it is more effective than the other factors. The methodology used in this study was descriptive and correlational. The population of this study were the personnel of Mehran border terminal which are 240 employees, and due to the small size of the population, all the population was used as the sample study. The data collection tool was a researcher- made questionnaire which its validity was approved using expert validity, and its reliability was also obtained as 0.88 using Cronbach's alpha formula. Finally, the data sets were analyzed using LISREL software.The results of the study indicated that among the studied factors like economic, social, cultural and political, the political factor is the most influential factor in the security of the bordering terminal.
