Achieving the ideal of the utopia requires the Qur’anic, systematic and purposeful
research, and the management of society based on Qur’anic findings.
Discovering the political and security implications of the Qur’an and using
them in political thought and action is one of the key parts of this way. This
study seeks to discover the main axis of Surah Muhammad (PBUH), then analyze
and examine their security implications and concepts around the central
message of the Surah.In this study, using the method of structural-thematic
analysis, the security-defense implications of Surah Muhammad (PBUH) are
studied and discovered. The obtained themes are categorized into 59 basic
themes, 18 organizing themes, and 7 comprehensive themes. Comprehensive
themes each have a security-defense theme. The comprehensive themes of
the surah are: the prosperity of the martyr, the confrontation of infidelity and
apostasy with the true and right front, the rules of war and peace, the divine
traditions related to resistance, the prosperity in obedience to divine (jihadi)
commands, the jihad against secularism. Finaly, jihad as the heart of the surah
was discovered from these themes.
