The Persian Gulf region can be considered one of the important and sensitive environments where the foreign and security policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran operates. The emergence of the Zionist regime as a new player in the Persian Gulf has significantly influenced Iran's foreign policy through environmental security variables. With the increasing influence of the regime in the region, the economic, political, and security relations between the members of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Zionist regime have remarkably developed. For instance, the UAE and Bahrain, as members of this council, have established diplomatic relations with the Zionist regime under the Abraham Accords. This development signifies a serious and growing challenge in Iran's national and transnational security environment. Therefore, the main question of this research is: What strategies has the Islamic Republic of Iran adopted in a neighborhood-based order in the Persian Gulf, focusing on the influence of the Zionist regime? In this context, utilizing the theoretical framework of regional orders, we aim to analyze Iran's foreign policy strategies in the Persian Gulf. This descriptive-conceptual research has been conducted using library methods to gather the necessary data. The findings indicate that Iran's foreign policy towards the influence of the Zionist regime in the Persian Gulf is based on signs of continuity in the regional strategic behavior pattern, employing strategies of hard balancing, alliances and coalitions, and active engagement in de-escalation with Arab states as the main mechanisms to counter the influence of the Zionist regime in the region.
