Today, the alignment of our country's media community with scientific developments and the astonishing growth and development of military technologies, along with planning to overcome the backwardness in this field, is a necessity that can empower and prepare them to confront Western empires. Identifying national media strategies to counter the volume of psychological operations by the enemy against military security and active figures in this field is very crucial. The aim of this research is to present a strategic model of national media in enhancing the sense of military security in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Accordingly, the main research question is: What strategic model can be presented for the national media in enhancing the sense of military security in the Islamic Republic of Iran?
The type of research is applied and developmental, and the research method is a case study. Given the qualitative strategy in the research, both qualitative and quantitative approaches have been used simultaneously. The statistical population of the research in the qualitative and quantitative sections was considered by determining various characteristics. In the qualitative stage, purposeful sampling and interviews were conducted until theoretical saturation with 15 experts. In the quantitative stage, considering the acceptable volume of 287 individuals, a total of 293 acceptable questionnaires were collected, all of which were involved in the research process.
The research findings led to the identification of six strategic components: "content production," "content supervision," "human resources tools," "awareness techniques," "awareness processes," and "technology tools" based on balanced strategies. Considering the identified components, the dimensions of national media strategies in enhancing the sense of military security in the Islamic Republic of Iran were ultimately introduced, including "content-oriented," "tool-oriented," and "awareness-oriented" strategies. Therefore, the national media model in enhancing the sense of military security in the Islamic Republic of Iran, based on the results of this research, was introduced as consisting of 3 strategic dimensions, 6 strategic components, and 54 strategic items.
