Security prevention is a significant and thought-provoking issue that has consistently attracted the attention of scholars and thinkers over the past decade, with numerous studies conducted in this regard. The primary objective of this article is to conceptualize security prevention within the framework of the thoughts of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief (May His Eminence Be Preserved). To achieve this goal, the following question was posed What is the concept of security prevention from His perspective? To address this question, all directives, measures, and writings of the Supreme Leader from 1370 to the end of 1403 (Persian Calendar) in the domain of prevention were examined using the content analysis method. Qualitative analysis was performed on the data through open, axial, and selective coding. To ensure the validity and reliability of the analyses, methods such as credibility, transferability, and confirmability assessments, as well as the holistic reliability method, were employed, yielding a coefficient of 0.72, indicating a high level of agreement among evaluators. The findings reveal that the concept of prevention, from the perspective of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief (May His Eminence Be Preserved), can be categorized into six components prioritizing preventive measures, comprehensive intelligence oversight of both friendly and adversarial domains, foresight in prevention, adopting deterrent and effective preventive measures, organizational and individual enhancement, and public participation. Additionally, the indicators related to all categories demonstrate that a total of 41 indices can be identified in this regard.
