Abstract
Financial employees in intelligence and security organizations serve as the backbone of organizational economic health, playing multiple roles in achieving strategic objectives. This study aims to identify factors influencing the enhancement of productivity among financial employees in such organizations, addressing the question: What are the factors affecting the job productivity of financial employees in intelligence and security organizations? The study employed both qualitative and quantitative populations. In the qualitative phase, nine experts were selected using the snowball sampling method for interviews. In the quantitative phase, 40 participants were selected via total population sampling to complete questionnaires. Data were collected through library-based and field methods, utilizing note-taking, tables, document analysis, interviews, and questionnaires. The qualitative phase’s validity was ensured through triangulation, internal and external member checking, and reliability was calculated using Holsti’s method. In the quantitative phase, questionnaire validity was determined through content validity using Lawshe’s coefficient, and reliability was assessed via Cronbach’s alpha.
The findings, analyzed through qualitative content analysis, were used to develop a questionnaire, and Friedman’s test (using software such as SPSS) was applied for prioritizing factors. The results indicate that individual factors (experience, integrity, financial and computational acumen, trustworthiness, skills, expertise, and intrinsic motivation), organizational factors (organizational interaction and cooperation, participation, career development, welfare benefits, continuous and practical training, and organizational structure), and environmental factors (favorable work environment) have the greatest impact on enhancing the productivity of financial employees in intelligence and security organizations.
