The primary goal of any organization is to achieve organizational success, and senior managers continually seek to identify and manage factors that enhance this success. Among these factors, family resilience plays a significant role. In security organizations, characterized by unique operational demands and high-stress environments, families of personnel have a critical influence on organizational performance. This study aimed to determine the role of family resilience among employees of security organizations in achieving organizational success. The central research question was: "What is the role of family resilience in the success of security organizations?"
Given the exploratory nature of the study, no hypotheses were proposed. A descriptive-analytical qualitative approach was employed, involving in-depth, semi-structured interviews with 10 qualified experts. Data analysis revealed that, according to Froma Walsh's family resilience framework, family resilience comprises three core dimensions: (1) shared beliefs (family belief systems or collective mindset); (2) flexibility in roles (family organizational patterns); and (3) collective problem-solving (family communication processes). Strengthening these dimensions enhances family resilience, which in turn improves employee efficiency in security organizations and ultimately contributes to overall organizational success.
The findings underscore the importance of family-centered interventions in high-risk security contexts to bolster both individual employee performance and institutional effectiveness
