One of the most crucial aspects of a country's national security is its border policy. The Caucasus region holds significant geopolitical and strategic importance, making it a focal point for military, security, and political competition among regional and extra-regional geopolitical powers. It has been converted. In recent years, Azerbaijan has consistently attempted to seize control of the Zangzor Corridor, located on the shared border between Iran and Armenia, or to alter its existing boundaries. This article seeks to use the qualitative approach and the method of qualitative content analysis to investigate the role of the possible change of the borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran in a scientific and systematic way. The research results have been classified and analyzed in the form of 153 open codes and finally, six categories in the field of military security, which include the increase in military costs and arms races, the change in the military geography of the region and the expansion of the military influence of the Zionist regime, the presence of NATO in the region, the increase in tension and the possibility of military conflict and the expansion of American military influence. These are among the categories affecting the military security of Iran.
